🌱Hola compańeros bloggers✨
🌱Today’s product review is about a brand that has been in the spotlight 🔦 for a while now @biossance.
🌱The company founded in Berkeley, California utilizes biotechnology to create safe, effective skincare for the skin and the environment.
🌱The star ✨ingredient featured in all their products is plant derived (their’s is derived from sugarcane). Squalene oil which is a weightless oil that instantly moisturizes the skin and locks in moisture.
🌱The eye gel contains squalene oil, Eyeseryl & Argiline to reduce dark circles and puffiness and Swiss apple🍎stem extract to brighten the under eye area.
🌱The gel itself is very light in texture, it goes on smoothly and doesn’t irritate the eyes. However since I have very dry skin under the eyes I do have to follow it up with an undereye cream since I don’t find it moisturizing enough.
🌱In terms of lightening dark circles I haven’t really noticed a significant difference 😕there. Will I continue using it maybe 🤔unless I find something better and more affordable since this is $54 for 15ml of product 💸. Have you tried this? How was your experience?
Hola companeros blogueros❣️➡️Hello fellow bloggers 😘
Lol😀 Incase you were wondering what’s going on❓I’ve recently started learning Spanish so I’m trying to practice it every chance I get 😇. Anyways back to today’s blog post ✨ Today I’ll be reviewing another Etsy brand : Erzuliecosmetics🍃
So let’s start by talking a little about the brand first. Erzulie products are all handmade in small batches, are cruelty free🐰 and vegan and are non comedogenic. The brand includes skincare as well as mineral makeup made from all natural, organic ingredients. They are however not USDA certified. The products very reasonably priced and shipping was timely. You can purchase them from their Etsy store Or from their website Erzulie.
Ok let’s move on to the review. I purchased the following products from them:
🍃The hydrating quench booster I bought this thinking it was a tinted moisturizer which it is stated as. However it I found it to be more of a regular face moisturizer since it offered literally no coverage whatsoever 🙁. It is a very good moisturizer though it’s light, non greasy and is made with skin loving ingredients like: Shea oil, Glycerin, almond oil, lecithin and grape seed oil. Would I buy it again❓ as a moisturizer maybe as a tinted moisturizer no😕.
🍃The mineral corrector so I bought this for the sole purpose of covering up my dark under eye circles. While I like the consistency it’s moisturizing and blends easily the color is not as pigmented as I would have liked. It’s more of a peach color then a darker orange/pink which works better with my skin tone. However it is made of all natural ingredients🍃like Shea butter, jojoba oil, squalene . Would I repurchase it❓I’m thinking maybe…😳 🍃The gel eyeliner Ok so I love eyeliner I feel it defines and enhances your eyes so I have been looking for an organic, all natural liner for a long time. This one while it doesn’t flake or dry out it’s not the richest black. However I do like the ease of application and the fact that it’s made from natural ingredients. Will I be repurchasing ❓Maybe 🤔…
So guys that was my review of @Erzuliecosmetics🍃. I hope you found it helpful ✨Let me know in the comments if you have tried this brand and what are your favorite products from them 😘
Until next time 💋xoxo❣️

Hola Bunnies 🐰💕
🍃Today on the blog I will be reviewing a product that I found to be highly rated by beauty bloggers and highly reviewed on Amazon : “The Aztec Secret Indian Beauty Clay”.
🍃Consisting of 100% calcium bentonite clay it is supposed to rejuvenate, refresh and beautify your skin. Isn’t that what they all claim 😒. 🍃The clay is to be mixed with either 💦 , apple 🍎 cider vinegar or rose 🌹 water to make a thick paste which you apply leave on for 10-15 ⏲mins or till it dries and wash off. For me the mask got uncomfortably tight as it dried and to be very honest I saw no difference whatsoever in my skin post the application. 😭
👎🏻I have had way better results with my DIY masks then this . Neither did it make any difference to acne prone skin ( I made my sister try it on her breakouts). All in all I give it a big fat thumbs down 👎🏻.
🍃Have you guys tried this product? Which mask would you recommend let me know in the comments down below 😘
Until next time loves 💕
Welcome to another DIY post 😘. Since I had so much fun making my own DIY lip balm I decided to give face and body creams a try ✨ Making your own creams and butters can appear a bit daunting at first but if you use a few pure, ingredients it really is very simple. Just remember this one ☝️ cardinal rule : ‼️Anytime you add water, extracts, gels or tinctures to an oil/butter mix you will need to add preservatives‼️
Meaning as long as your cream/butter mixture contains oils, essential oils and butters you can use them without refrigeration or the need for any preservatives. However since water 💦 creates an environment for mold and bacteria you will need a preservative or your cream/lotion/butter will develop mold and go rancid even if you refrigerate it. Also please note that vitamin E 🚫oil is not a preservative and will not prevent mold from forming you will need a chemical preservative.
You will need :
🌱3/4 cup Shea butter
🌱3/4 cup cocoa butter
🌱1/2 tsp 🐝beeswax pastilles or 2 tsp arrow root powder.
( Beeswax binds the oils and butters together, while arrowroot gives the cream a slightly matte feel which I find perfect for the summer when you don’t want a greasy after feel from your cream especially if you are planning to use it on your face. If using the arrowroot omit the beeswax if you use both you will end up with a somewhat firmer texture to your cream. If you want a lighter texture just use the arrowroot powder).
🌱1 tbsp each of avocado 🥑 oil , jojoba oil and almond oil.
🌱1 tsp of Rose hip seed oil
🌱1/2 tsp of neem oil ( Neem oil is a great anti inflammatory oil and helps prevent breakouts. However it has a very strong, bordering on stinky odour so if you find you cannot😷 stand the smell use tea tree oil instead).
🌱Start by sterilizing your equipment, I wiped down my utensils with alcohol 🍺 swabs and air dried them.
🌱Next heat up your shea and cocoa butter along with the beeswax ( if you are adding it) in a heat proof container placed over a pan of simmering water. 🌱Stir together until the butters are melted through.
🌱Cover with plastic wrap and place container in the freezer for 10 ⏱mins to cool down and thicken slightly. 🌱This is what your mixture will look like after about 10 mins slightly thick but not frozen. At this point add in the oils, the arrowroot powder (if using) and start whisking with your electric mixer you can also use a stand mixer if you have one and make your task less labour intensive 😘.
🌱After about 10 mins your mixture will start to resemble a thick whipped cream 😱😍. 🌱Add in your essential oil and continue to whip or mix until the cream thickens and sticks to the whisks. 🌱And voila✨ your homemade cream is ready!🎉 All that’s left now is to transfer it your storage container and it’s ready to use 😍. Make sure you sterilize and dry your storage containers ‼️remember water breeds mold ‼️. The cream will keep easily for several months at 25 🌡degrees C (that’s the temperature indoors here) if it’s hot where you live keep it in the refrigerator ❄️. 🌱This cream is buttery soft, melts on contact with your skin and is non greasy thanks to the arrowroot powder. The geranium oil adds a lovely floral scent 💐. It’s very concentrated so a little will go a long way. Plus the best part is it is all natural and contains zero chemicals✨.
🌱Do try this recipe and let me know how it turned out for you 😘
Until next time loves xoxo💋!
💋Hey Lovelies ,
Today’s post is going to bring you up close and personal with your favorite blogger : Me! 😘 haha 😂 ok so maybe I’m not on your top 10 favorite people list yet but maybe this fun fact sheet will change that and get me into the top 💯?
Let’s get started already!
💋1- I don’t wear makeup unless it’s a special occasion. Everyday I’m barefaced and yes that includes most OOTD posts unless I specifically state I’m wearing makeup. Even then it’s limited to tinted moisturizer, lipstick, kohl and blush.
💋2-I love acting would love to make a career out of it someday lol wishful thinking 😋.
💋3- I love buying clothes I mean if I could wear a new outfit everyday that would be the perfect world 🌎 for me 😇
💋4- I hate working out 🏋🏻 but I do it anyway because my body attracts fat like a magnet 😳.
💋5- I wish I had the power to travel back in time and redo some of the things that I messed up 😔.
💋6-I have always wanted to do a cartwheel and a handstand.
💋7- I wish junk food and desserts weren’t fattening. 😋
💋8- I have always dreamed of waking up looking perfectly made up like in the 🎥 movies or in Instagram selfies 💋.Usually when I wake up I look like I’ve been wrestling wild cats all night😾😺.
💋9-I don’t believe in ghosts….Execpt when I’m by myself at night and I’ve watched a horror flick 😳
💋10- I hate wearing heels 👠 if could wear my Tom’s everywhere I totally would 😊.
💋11- I color match my lingerie 😳 it drives me crazy if they aren’t the same color 😖.
💋12- I hate airplane food ✈️whenever I can I always buy myself a sandwich and a muffin( Costa, Paul or Starbucks 😋)to eat on board. (Doesn’t work out so well for long haul flights though 😡).
💋13- I love 💕rose scented anything (perfumes, cosmetics, skincare products 🌹). I recently tested ( more like sprayed it all over myself till the sales person raised her eyebrows) the rose 🌹 scented Oud (Arabic fragrance) from Loccitane and totally loved it 😍. (Hey it was a tester 😳)
💋14- I used to love reading 📖 but I haven’t been enthralled by a book since Harry Potter 😢. (Any recommendations?)
💋15– I am so sick and tired of people going on racist rants and spreading hate and violence just because they think they are entitled on the basis of their skin color which FYI is determined by your genes and not something that makes you superior or that you can change. ( Unless you happen to be Michael Jackson 😎).
So there it is guys a little bit more about myself. Hope you guys enjoyed reading do let me know in the comments 😘.
Until next time xoxo 💋.
🍃Long time no see ✨❣ I just got back from a long vacation last week and I am still in transition from holiday to back to routine mode😩 which is why I was absent from blogging for so long✍🏼.
🍃So I figured what better way to get the regular routine officially started then with a produt review ✨
🍃I used this product throughout my vacation since I had run out of my previous 🍃Lush Herbalism cleanser.
🍃Presenting the Lush Dark Angels face wash✨
🍃The Dark Angels face wash is very appropriately named because it is totally that🌑. I was initially a bit nervous putting it on my face but the promise of clearer, fresher skin made me get over it 😁. Are you guys ready for this❓Here goes ✨
🍃The product has a moist somewhat crumbly texture and is comprised of powdered charcoal, rhassoul clay, black sugar, avocado and rosewood oil. You just add some water to make a paste and off you go❗️Fair warning the pics you will see below might be a tad bit alarming so proceed with caution‼️
🍃Yes I admit i did have a lot of fun using this once I got over the initial shock of seeing my face so startlingly black 😱.
🍃The face wash is satisfyingly exfoliating I personally don’t like creamy cleansers or soft exfoliators. I don’t feel my skin is clean enough unless I give it a good scrub. This cleanser is perfect if you have super oily or acne prone skin, if you have dry or sensitive skin it might be too much for you.
🍃The only peeve I have is its too messy too use so I wouldn’t recommend wearing lighter colors when using this. Also it tends to leave behind residue so you have to wash your face throughly or use a gel cleanser after it you might end up with black streaks on your face .
🍃I give this product a 4/5✨ have you tried this cleanser❓let me know what your favorite Lush products are 😘
